Mortal Census Bureau (命数管理局 Meisuukanrikyoku) is the Department, where Shirushigamis work, managing human lifespan records and performing other tasks such as managing payment to Shinigamis and cleansing evil spirits with washing machines.
It has been subjected to many incidents, in which most was due to lack of security.[1]
